Handal Group of Companies (HGC) is recognized as the largest public bus provider in Johor, Malaysia. The brand "Causeway Link: The Smiling Bus" was introduced by Handal Indah Sdn Bhd in 2003, marking the company's entry into the market with a modest fleet of eight buses. This venture ended a 30-year monopoly held by a Singapore-based company on cross-border bus services. Since its inception, Causeway Link has successfully transitioned from a cross-border service provider to a comprehensive regional transport solution, catering to various towns and cities across Peninsular Malaysia including Klang, Kuala Lumpur, Batu Pahat, Malacca, and Johor Bahru.

In addition to its core transport services, HGC offers a diverse array of products and services including bus chartering, advertising services on buses, airport express shuttle services, and mobile exhibition bus services for events and promotions.

Notably, Causeway Link is the first operator to establish a centralized Control Centre dedicated to the real-time monitoring of commuter support. The company has also introduced contactless ticketing and mobile-based journey planning to enhance convenience for regular passengers.
